Diane has worked in a variety of settings and has had careers in Human Resources, Program Management, and Education. Her early career was in Human Resources, and for 20 years she worked in several roles from Recruiter to Human Resources Director. Most of her work was focused on healthcare. She holds her SHRM–SCP.

Diane served as a Program Manager for Leadership Howard County, where she managed the Youth Leadership Development Program for eight years. During this time, she had the good fortune to work with many leaders within the Howard County Government, private business owners, and many Executive Directors and staff of non-profits that were based in Howard County. Diane also taught classes at Howard Community College, working with students as a career counselor.

She has recently gone back to her teaching roots and became a certified Orton Gillingham instructor. She is enjoying working with students with dyslexia and other learning challenges as she teaches them to read.
