Columbia, MD — Ohana Howard County (OhanaHC) is proud to announce the OhanaHC 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
The event will be held at 7000 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD, at 10:00 a.m. and is open to runners, walkers, families, teams, and community members of all fitness levels.
This family-friendly event is designed to bring the community together for a morning of fitness & fun and to raise money for OhanaHC’s mentoring programs.
How to get involved
Participants can take on a competitive 5K, enjoy a casual 5K walk, or join our relaxed 1-mile fun run/walk, making the event welcoming for seasoned runners and first-timers alike.
Even if you are unable to run or walk on May 31st, you may still participate as a fundraiser and can even create a fundraising team. Prizes will be awarded to top individual finishers, teams, and top fundraisers.

OhanaHC is also seeking event sponsors, with sponsorship opportunities ranging from $250 to $10,000. Sponsorships provide valuable visibility for businesses and organizations while directly supporting our Howard County students.
