Bill is a longtime Columbia resident who is actively involved in the community, including Oakland Mills High School, where both his daughters graduated. He has an extensive background in technology, entrepreneurship, and educational leadership.
He is the Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer of InsureTech Connect (ITC Vegas), the largest gathering of insurance innovation. He also has experience in entrepreneurship, having served as a co-founder or early-stage leader at multiple startups.
Early in his career, Bill worked with Sylvan Learning Centers on large-scale partnerships with urban school districts, including Newark, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and the South Bronx. His work focused on building welcoming learning spaces to accelerate foundational reading and math skills.
At his core, Bill sees himself as a connector, bringing people, ideas, and opportunities together to create momentum and impact. He’s also a mentor and the Oakland Mills Village Coordinator, working with the students and school partners to empower youth.
He’s grateful for his mentors along the way, and hopes to pay that forward by providing students with a platform to stand on, the confidence to reach higher, and the belief that their future can be bigger than they imagine.
Bill is a father to two adult daughters and an avid golfer.
