David moved to Howard County when he joined APL Federal Credit Union in March 2019 as President/CEO. With more than 37 years of experience working in financial institutions, including over 30 years in credit unions, David considers himself a champion of cooperative values and people-helping- people ideals in both his Credit Union and Community efforts.
His career has taken him from California to Washington, Virginia, New Mexico and now loves living in Columbia, Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, graduate studies at Gonzaga University, and has completed a number of other executive leadership courses over his career. He is a graduate of Leadership Howard County Class of 2020 and enjoys serving with a number of Howard County Community and non-profit organizations. David and his wife, Lynnae, have three adult children. He is an avid sports fan who loves the beauty of golf courses and hiking trails.
