Jayna Crandell, an OhanaHC mentor

The story

Jayna Crandell is a pre-nursing student at Howard Community College who joined OhanaHC because she enjoys helping people and building new connections.

What she found was a relationship she values and a larger community she enjoys being part of.

Getting to know my student has been really fun, and I love being part of such a strong community and going to fun events. It’s been very rewarding to support my student’s journey!

Jayna Crandell, OhanaHC mentor

For Jayna, mentoring is about being present, sharing experiences, and knowing that even a few hours of your time can matter to someone else.
